WOW. Has it been a long time since there has been an update.

I am starting to notice a theme here...

Things have been great with MPH Audio. This past year I have had about 45 events, while juggling a 40+ hour full time gig. Been lot's of fun and had some really cool experiences! From recording awesome Bluegrass musicians to meeting/befriending a LA film composer.

Some of the more notable events this year.

Golden Bear Bash - New Albany festival
Hilliard City Schools Graduation - Schottenstein Center.
Westlake, CA - A/V Install
No Person EP - House recording in Pittsburgh, PA.
St. Christopher festival

A few gear expansions, and more of a focus on recording Acoustic music is in the future here this year.

Fort Worth, Texas!

Well, 

I am just now sitting on the shuttle to blue lot. Back from my 4 days of audio glory running sound at the Acusport trade show. Put in roughly 5-7 hours of OT a day, drank a lot of coffee, and found out that the tall beers in Texas are taller. 

I'm looking forward to next month, as I will be in Chicago twice!

Hello! I have been lacking with posts here, I hope that I will be able to keep up with this!

A lot of things have been happening with MPH Audio.

We had a stage at the Westerville Rock the 'Ville festival a few weeks ago.

Collaborating with John Srsen to finish off a personal album of his. We met up in Cleveland and laid down some drum tracks with the mobile rig.

I found an interesting SubReddit called r/mixclub. I have been trying to participate in that as much as possible.

Other than that, just freelancing with other companies and focusing on my newish full time position with a technology company here in the Columbus area.

The Mascarello Band

I have been working with Anthony Mascarello and his band for a few weeks now. We are in the studio putting out an EP. They just had a show down at Oldfields on 4th. Really promising work here, looking forward to the finished product!

Alexa Salamon

Tonight 1/7/13 marks the first session with this phenomenal singer/songwriter. We have made progress towards this EP. Updates, and a pre release to come soon!

Over this holiday break, I have been doing a lot of work! Relative to MPH Audio, would be booking Alexa Salamon for some recording time. The anticipated date this project will start will be 1/9. This EP will mostly be featuring Alexa's voice, however, there may be some guitar/piano collaboration!
